As part of their personal development process participants have the opportunity to address their most pressing current issues. The focus is on understanding their own career blocks and starting to address these by learning how to develop coping strategies, managing stress, dealing with problems and at the same time developing self-confidence, learning how to learn, enhancing their interpersonal skills and personal career planning in order to be able to take more control of their lives and achieve social participation.

Award: After successful completion of the assessment tasks participants have the opportunity to gain a national qualification by Open College Network (Award in Progression at levels 1, 2, or 3).

The course is offered in a blended learning approach combining face to face teaching sessions with online assessments, supported by tutorials.
